Thanks for your comment on my seashells.  Boats are one of the hardest things to paint and you paint what you know beautifully.  Keep up the good work!

The bear was a real challenge to get the hair to float like seaweed.  Fur is different wet out of water, dry and wet underwater.  Then, to get the depth, I did transparent washes of about 6 layers starting with the back leg and working to the foremost paw with the last layer so that the back leg had all 6 layers of wash and the paw only one. me

Your work is beautiful and somehow haunting. It's not hard to tell that you know the sea.
