Hi there Darl, thanks for the comment on my painting.  Yeah, it's a whole lot better being in front of the eight ball than behind it!  I enjoyed looking at your work, wonderful variety of subjects.  You're an admirer of Harnett?  The architectural pieces are strong.  Is the "Red, White, and Blue" 4x6 inches or feet?  What medium do you prefer to paint with?  ~ellen

I looked through your whole gallery because something usually stands out from the others to make me want to comment- but there were so many I liked that I decided to comment here instead. Your birds are great- especially the nuthatch. I have horrible trouble with backgrounds and yours is so simple and perfect. The shadows on your models are wonderful. I think I like the muddy water the most, particularly the one with the tree roots on the bank- There are so many unpainted paintings with the same subject matter, because everyone always choose to do sparkling clear water, or pristine blue water- so kudos to you for that. I enjoyed everything. Where are you selling your art?

Hi Darl,

Maybe each peice does tell a story of some kind.  Let's just say I make it up as I go along.  But, if you find something out, you better let me know.  LOL!

  Take Care, Karen
