Hi Carol -

I like your paintings and your perspective on Alaskan Landscapes.

I checked out your blog and wanted to tell you about Daily Painters.com --

If you haven't already heard of it -- it is a great market to sell your daily paintings in...check it out....I think you would do well there.

Take Care!

Thanks for the comment, I think it is great when others can see more in a painting than just the subject. Thanks again, and I am looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Thank you for your comment on my painting, "Late Summer Apples." I have enjoyed seeing your work and especially like the way you handle drapery and fabric.  I always struggle with this so, but you have really captured the look and texture. The design of the still life work is also interesting and very solid.  The landscapes are great, but the still life really caught my attention.

Happy painting!

Hi, thanks for your comment. I spend far too much time on my paintings too, so maybe I should try a painting a day??? They usually takes me weeks and even months! I can't imagine painting really fast, but it sounds worth a try. Been out of the loop for a while as I broke my shoulder in January and wasn't even able to lift my painting arm until recently. I've finally  got 60% movement back now and am hoping it will continue to improve.
