Artfitz,  Thank you for vsiting my gallery! The California Hills were so inviting to me. Especially the ones around Sonoma Co. My Dad is in the V.A. Home up in Yountville. We were able to "tool around" for a day to enjoy the land and sea scapes. My mind was filled..    Thanks again.

I'm glad you checked out the "Strange Fruit" piece.  It is certainly meant to be provocative and it has been the source of many discussions at my art shows.  Not everyone likes it, but that was certainly not the objective.  I have been pleasantly surprised at how the work is received on so many different levels, like provocative literature.  Unfortunately, our modern media is not a place where we can really have candid discussions about racial issues as they occur in real life.  It's not that we are unwilling, I think it is really a reflection of the media's inability to accept a nuanced vocabulary reflective of the diversity of perspective, emotion and experience that we are as humans.

Anyway, one day I would be interested in hearing what you actually see in the piece.  I have had many people chilled unpleasantly by it.

nice variety of art work. I like the line work and humor of the nudes. Would love to see some of the more detailed pieces more closely.

Hey Artfitz, is that new or different pic of you.  Perhaps I'm just  not around enough, but if it is new, "nice.

Until I listened to your sounds, I was not familiar with 60% of the artist, such as Lacuna Coll and Little Big Town, but I love the music.  Thank you for compiling such a nice list.

Also thank you for the DC info.  I got right on it.  I hope that we eventually meet at the artomatic.

I hope you are enjoying your summer annd being productive so far.

I just discovered your gallery and I really enjoyed going thru it. My favorites were your figure drawings. The line work is tremendous. They remind me a little of Leroy Neiman's figures. Nice work.   -Don
