Amy, thanks for the visit and the comments!  I did the "gaze" series a few years ago when I was trying to find subject matter for my work!  I haven't created any new pieces in the series, but from your comment I might go back in that direction.  I never thought to continue it...yeah...I like that idea, THANKS! I just have something for eyes looking away from the viewer.  thx for the music praise, life wouldn't be the same without it.  Keep in touch!  Kevin

thanks for visiting my page...yes i do alot of "non-celebrity" portrait commissions as well. i am currently working on two commissioned oil portraits, and am also doing digital collage portrait "readings", an interesting new concept that women seem to especially like...

I've had people say that the cow speaks to them - but they won't tell me what it says.  The portrait of Hope Chest is part of the 'lonely cow series' on my website.  I'm not even sure why cows other than that they are fun to paint and seem like peaceful creatures.
