Tks for the comment I like your work also.  Because I am from Texas I can relate to your pictures.

Hi, Alston

Thank you. I thought maybe they had to be approved before they could be seen. I am also having trouble getting my other information in. I think I will like this site once I get it figured out. I will try inserting them again. I just came to MB in April and will stay through the winter, maybe longer. I like it here. Pawley's Is. is great, too.

Thanks for writing!

Anne

Thank you for your kind comments. Your work is beautiful too! I'm not sure what I'm doing on this site yet, but I'll try to get up to speed quickly!

Thanks for your encouraging comment about my painting and poem "Against the Flow". I love writing poems with each of my paintings and the consequent fusion of brush and pen strokes. Indeed, having reached the stage in life when hopefully I can leave business affairs behind me, I would like to share my works more widely with others in hopes that they might share my enthusiasm.

By the way, getting back to your uncle's hat, I love your Western themes. Now that wouldn't be your uncle's hat in 'Ready to Saddle Up' would it?

Thanks for looking and your comment. The painting you commented on was
out near Ennis, Texas. Last year we had plenty and unusual rain during
the spring and summer. The rumor had it that the famous "Bluebonnet
Trail" was awesome. So this spring my wife and I headed out that way to
see for our selves. However, this spring was very dry which effects the
quanity of bluebonnets. We could hardly find any, so we just rode
around ate, shot photos of old barns and the like, and we ate some
more...

I really like the southwestern theme of your art and especially your poppies!
