Hi Sonja,  very nice new painting.  I haven't checked in with you lately.  I love the drawing as well.  Drawings are so raw and fresh to me.  I think we could use more of them.  Talk to you again soon-    Deb

Sonja,

Your work is exquisitely feminine, and romantic as Lisabeth says.  I enjoy going thru your pages often.  Do you have a personal website?

With best regards,   Gary

Sonja, your new work is wonderful. So romantic. I don't think I can do romantic, or sexy. I guess that's ok, as long as I csn create something. I feel you have been working hard for a number of years. There is no subtitute for that.

Sunday,my first yoga class. It was everything I expected and more. I will continue seeking. CU later, Lisabeth

Love your figures, I just got my copy of Palette Magazine and the whole issue is devoted to figures and how to stray from the norm.  Your paintings are unique and vibrant, love the key!

Hm, when I set up my page, the blocks were filled with white backgrounds with print on top of them.  I imagine all would be difficult to read on top of the bricks. It shows properly when I click on my page. Apologies. Currently, bricks are meaningful to me.  It's a post - Katrina, up-against-a-brick-wall kind of thing.  This may pass.  I'll see; and if/when it does, I just might take your advice.

Your work is subtle and dynamic.

Hi Sonya,

My work is not done in acrylics, it's mostly layers of monotype with added mixed media.  Transformation 10 is a monotype collage.

Thanks for the kind comments, and keep painting!
