Thanks for your comment on "Wind", I can get carried away with horses manes. Your pieces are very interesting to me, because they're not like anything I do, or would even try to do. I like the one with the bright sun-like emergence at the top of the painting.

Pretty, pretty!

This is a weird program.  It will  not accept the word s t y l e.  It always changes it to title.  Argh.

Thanks for clearing up the confusion on your comment(s) and thanks also for the compliment on the abstracts. Today I begin the metallic abstract...not sure where to start other than putting paint on the canvas so hopefully once I get going something will take shape. Fingers and toes are crossed...

Looking forward to seeing more abstracts from you.

Hello Roberta! Thanks for your nice comments about my work.  I am new to this site, so it is nice to know that my work is being seen.  I really like your paintings.  The layering of pigment is incredibly well done, and altogether creates very peaceful artwork.  Keep up the good work!

Hi Roberta, your paintings have a very soft flow to them.. I try to create that feeling in my paintings too.

I am also from Chicago originally (grew up in Wilmette, lived on the North Side post college, married someone from New England and moved here, 22 yrs later got divorced and hope to be moving back to Chicago in the near future to be back to my roots!) All of my family is there and although I have established a reputation in the art community where I live now I am dreading having to start over in Chicago. Maybe our paths will cross...

Thanks for the compliment about my abstracts. After a couple recent realistic paintings I'm looking forward to the abstract I'm going to be working on this week for a customer. It's going to be all in metallic paint.

Your astracts have a moody feel to them. Your way of bringing jazz music to life through paint rather than sound possibly?

You must clarify...what you were talking about when you said "titles"...the art or the music? Looked like your fingers were working faster than your head for a moment : )

Hi Roberta,

Thank you for your beautiful compliments on my work. Your acrylic works have a mystical quality as Gregory said; they must be wondrous in person. I hope to see more soon.

Warm Regards, David
