Hi Heather!

Thank you for stopping by and the sweet comment of Define Emotion. =) Your works are so beautiful! They take you away to places we wish we were or once was...Congratulations on your new gallery! I have been keeping up with the ArtExpo for a couple years now. Haven't been yet, but hoping to in a year or two.

Thanks for the nice comment. I see now why the picture drew you in. Your work is great, the beach pictures really make me anxious for summer...or at least temperatures above the 30's.

Thanks Rippert- glad to have you as a friend. I started with watercolor- moved to oils about 12 years ago.

I would be delighted to have you  as friend....congratulations on your succeess at the art expo...that's great.....I must say you look great for 108!!!!! I am not famiiar with Jack White's books....I will definitely check them out...I'm at a crossroads presently as to  marketing myself....something I really suck at and resist and get very scattered and I know it's time to do something about so again thanks.... :-0) feather (Meredith)

Life's a beach and then you paint it. And very well I might add.

Thanks for the advise...yea..the squinting thing really worksI just cant seem to capture the intensity of the colors that i see in the real scene...the camera loses some of it somehow...but i have hunch that practice makes perfect...the more i paint the better i will get.

love the beach watercolors...do you paint from a reference photo ? If so what format do you use...do you blow them up ? I ask because I paint from photos and am getting headaches looking at the small details and am trying to come up with a better way. I tried plein air but the darn scene changes so fast.
