Laura, that's cool that someone turned the truck into a show worthy vehicle. I have to  admit though I can relate to appreciating the beauty of patina and rust on a vehicle as it sits. I live on my great grandfather's farm and there is an old '49 Fleetline that sits in the woods. I have used it for inspiration in a lot of my work!

Hey Laura - thanks for browsing my gallery and commenting on my newest painting. After browsing your gallery I noticed the use of circles injected in your work. They are understated (except in the latest two) yet noticeable. I love your work. I've been intrigued by collage work but haven't tried any. For some reason it seems so much more daunting of a task than using paint alone. Yet I really like the results. Maybe I should keep it simple and just try a few small ones and just use a little collaging and build from there.
