HAHAHA! Thanks for the comment. I loved it! I have seen your profile and comments to others and you always crack me up! Keep up the great work and the humor. I look forward to seeing more of both!

Hello Golden One, The answer to your (not) dumb question of the day is both... All of my mask paintings are of actual masks. I just imagine them in different color schemes and environments and then get busy. Often I play with photos I've taken of my masks in Photoshop to get down the color scheme and composition. I usually have the mask that I'm doing a portrait of hanging on or beside my easel while I paint - keeping an eye on me to make sure I'm on the right track.  -Don

Sis- Stopping by just to say Hi!  We are up to our ears in water but not as bad as Iowa.  Spent the day in Stillwater today- a fun town that is by the river.  Laughing and goofing off with another girlfriend.  How are you?

I'm glad you liked my blaze pendant.  I cut glass is shapes I think will be interesting and then mix up different colors.  The center of the Blaze piece has dichoric frit to add 'pop'.   I fire the glass pieces in  my kiln to fuse them.  It can be a real surprise sometimes...most of the time a very pleasant surprise.  Thanks!

I enjoy your work too!
