Laughlines, I like your sense of humor.  And actually the field of sunflowers was near Denver International Airport.  But since you've clicked your heels together, you've already realized my love for sunflowers since I'm originally from Kansas.  Thanks for the comment.

Hi Susan, Thanks for noticing my latest painting...I think...   =)

I enjoyed visiting your site. You have some great work and some interesting writings. It's also refreshing to see how devoted you are to your faith. If you get a chance, go to my website www.donmichaeljr.com. You might see a few images you can appreciate, especially in the Printmaking section of my portfolio.

Isn't this journey we call life fun?     -Don

Thank you Anne, for your kind remarks.  "In the Beginning" means more to me than most of my work, just because the deepest feelings I ever experienced was holding my (7)babies in my arms...to experience the miracle of bringing another human being to existance...mind boggling!

Hi,  Thanks for your post.  I also like that you put God first.   I thoroughly enjoyed going through your gallery.  All your work is great.  My favorite is "In the begining".

Anne

Dear Brother Brian...the last thing I want to do is "down" the beautiful painting of Christ.  I just know from my experiences witnessing to people, that there are some offended by a honey-hair color and blue (not in your case) eyes.  Especially supporting Jews for Jesus people who are familiar with the area.  Most men in that era were clean shaven, with short (dark) hair and olive complexion.  I understand completely what you are saying, and I want to encourage you that this is really just critique without cause.  I'm so thrilled to see so many artists magnify Christ here at Scuttlebutt...LOL....and I really appreciate you as a brother in Christ!

Thank you for the nice comments. I sketched that picture on the canvas board about 6:00 in the evening, and it was pretty cold. But that was a long time ago and I didn't mind the cold then. I have some what of a different oppinion now about the cold.
