Hello pattieba,

Thanks for the compliments!  Depending on the painting, I treat/prime paperboard with either Liquitex's "Gloss Medium & Varnish", Latex house paint, gesso, or acrylic paint. 

As for the eBay stuff:  It's pretty disappointing.  eBay started out as a fun adventure for many artists.  Then they changed many of the rules and raised fees, but it was still tolerable.  Now, with the newest round of changes and fee increases, many sellers are finding it to be just not worth it anymore.  It's sad.  I guess we'll wait and see what eBay does in the future; But for now, I'm looking elsewhere.

Thank you for your comment about my painting, Rumi's Trees.  Your work is so very powerful and soulful.  The little aceo works are amazing.  I am drawn particularly to "Tribute to Egon" and your oil on paper works.  What do you treat the paper board with?

Interesting that I have been looking at Ebay to sell art, and you have some negative input about that.  I will check out the other site you suggested.

Jendria - your works are two fold - they are amazingly realistic like in "clematis purple" and then they become Munch-like recreations like your "three under the sun" or the torso painting! Both are extremely interesting. Keep up the works. JK
