Hi Hall, the character of your work is so universally appealing displaying all that is exceptional with today's new masters, bravo. Every painting is a feast to the eyes with sensitive color harmony, brushwork and  composition. You have heightened my desire to get painting today. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Warm Regards, David

We are from the same town.  It is great to see someone with so much talent living in this area.  My work is currently at Anthony Brunelli Fine Arts.

You put the 'fine' in fine art...beatufiul delicate work...I tried to do a painting a day, and my day job sucked the life out of me, ... I'll get back to it, it's a wonderful concept!  Best,Sandy

Re: Latest Poll.     The most important concept for beginners to grasp is the value of light in a painting.  Then, when I teach workshops, I notice how most have trouble with color and shading.

Great art is that which grabs your heart and haunts you from then on.
This is the only way I can answer your poll.
