Hi Gabriela, Thanks for your comments on "But It's a Dry Heat". I love the colors of the earth here in the desert and I wanted to get them onto canvas somehow.

Gabriela - I just heard about the deadly tornado  that went through Suffolk. I pray that you're alright and that your family is safe. The news about the twister is extremely grim. You'll be in our prayers tonight. - Jared

Thanks for the compliment on my Kitchen Altarpiece.  In reading your bio, I wanted to tell you my great-uncle and great-aunt lived in Mexico City (aunt still does).  My great-uncle's name was Fred Clapp -- he would have been painting at the time of Rivera and Kahlo though he was more of a traditionalist, with a touch of Rivera's title and palette. How long did you stay in Mexico City?

 

You're work is fascinating and I look forward to seeing more of it.
