Thank you for your wonderful comments.  I love your use of color, just gorgeous.  I do like the old fashioned Regency Romances.  No sex, just very funny.  But I want to try the artist you suggested.  I would like to be your friend but have never figured out how to do that.  You have one up on me.  If you would let me know I would love to be your friend.   Pat

This painting sold about a month ago; I usually don't sell my stuff but this lady was very insistent Hope you don't get this twice because my browser started updating and cut me off the first time I typed you a note. Thanks also for the comment on the abstract. It's one of my favorites. There was no concept or idea. I just started putting paint on the canvas and adding until something took shape. I did it all in one sitting and it happened pretty quickly. I love it when that happens! If only they all could be that easy....

Thanks for the compliment on my tree painting :-)  I've been surprised by the number of comments I received on that one. Makes me want to revisit the other pictures I have from the park that same day. The sun was casting shadows all over the place.

Back northeast, eh?  Ice, 7 below,  wind chill....I wish I could take my advise and be there now!  

I guess the grass is always greener (or the snows whiter.)

Hi Eileen, thanks for the nice comments about my paintings and articles.  I like your oil paintings - very expessive landscapes!
