Hi Don, I thought of you yesterday when my daughter and I went to see the show KOOZA, (cirque du soleil) and she got a mask as a souvenier and then pointed out how she has started a collection of masks. She has a mask her brother got her when he was in Catania, Italy last spring, some masks I got her in New Orleans last winter, and now this new one.. who knows what will be next!

Thanks Don!  I was wondering if you got to go to the show.  I wish you could say you were blinded by all the "sold" stickers.  Ha ha.  Thanks for the kind words- they are very encouraging.  I don't know if it's too late, but last week's Las Vegas CityLife did a "City Picks" article about the show.  It's also online, so you can probably read it there, too.

Hey Don- Thanks for the comments! Have you ever tried your hand at MAKING a mask? I have always wanted to hack one out of a chunk of Tupelo or Bass wood. Semi off topic- What is your favorite headline graphic you've made for your station? -Just curious. Keep up the good work. -T

He he.. silly computers... being from africa i love masks and their symbolism.. been a collector since University Days... love your smiing mask.. reminds me of the representational masks for theatre

Thanks for the comments on my recent works. I meant to get back to you sooner regarding your comments on my current "self-portrait" series: theoretically, my series will be incomplete if I do not include and actual self-portrait.
