When I went to this scuttlebutt site, I did so out of boredom...in between big jobs. What a blessing this has been for me! I'm so happy to see and meet other Christian artists (on the professional level)! It's like a breath of fresh air! I wasn't surprised to see that your work sings with vibrancy, color and happiness...that's the empowerment God gives His people, no matter what gifts they are given. (I mention to my children to do away with pride when they achieve high marks, because God made the so-called idiot savants who are intellectually impaired in most areas, but have one or two genius level talents that stun the medical and scientific community). I am so happy to share thoughts with you and other Christian artists...maybe we can put out a blog or something to bring them in...I know that there are quit a few (I'm surprised, actually) on this...er...scuttlebutt...thing...LOL! I even hesitated to go here because of the name...but I saw a repectable artist on an illustrator site mention that he had a free web page here...so that's how I got here. Anyway...I'm getting too long winded...talk to you later! I'm thrilled, sis!
Very sorry to read about your loss. You've got a lot of friends out here who are sending support thoughts your way ... take your time in adjusting. All the best - Skip
Hi Deb! Thank you for checking in, I know you must be trying to climb up into a better space, hang in there, we all are rooting for you and loving you, and praying for you. It will feel so much better when you can get back into your studio, you will be healed as you paint.
Thanks for the kind words regarding my exhibit, it's been such a whirlwind, and was more work and more fun than I ever thought it would be. I've done small exhibits, nothing on with a big gallery, and it was grand. LOTS of people. Now I just need time to paint! Love you, stay in touch, Sandy
Hi deb, Thank you very much for visiting and the appreciation and of course the warm welcome. Lots of challenges in bringing Art to a place where nobody supports and understands, yet it isnpires us to do more until them finally embraced it to see the positive change in their youth and their community.
