Hi, Glad you like the tree. (200 years Dying)  It is ment to be a small room divider or to be placed in front of a window that may not have good scenery. (such as a parking lot, brick wall, etc.)  The glass is tempered for safety and the stand is made to be a very simple frame to hold the glass so it does not detract from glass.

Carmela, Thanks foe your compliment on the new abstracts. I am having a lot of fun with them...have done a few commissioned pieces this last week, and repeated some of the color combinations.

Congratulations on being accepted into your show!  Don't be surprised it your piece sells, which will only inspire you more.  Lucinda

Carmela, thanks so much for being the first person to comment on my paintings and site.  I fixed the size of the pictures (I hope)!

Carmela,

Thanks for your kind comment on the "Jail House Rock" piece. I actually just did a week of painting in the Paint Historic Waxahachie Paint Out, in Waxahachie, Texas. The "Jail House Rock" piece is of the cities old jail, built about 1890 or so. The other recent paintings were of that same event. We painted all week and then there was a show and sale at the end of the week.

The "Quickdraw" was 90 minutes long. We could paint anything we could see from the town square. Then, the art was auctioned off on the courthouse steps. It was really fun, but the wind was gusting so hard I had to hold my palette down with one hand as I painted.

Your watercolors are looking good...nice design work.

Thanks for the nice comment about my cheetah painting!  I love the calming ambiance evident in your watercolors.  Can't wait to see more!

Your work almost has a tropical feel to it. Very nice! I'll try to get a pict of my purple streaks this weekend. Happy June! Alison

Hi Carmela,

Thanks so much for your comment. Your work is so ethereal and lovely. I particularly like the softness and gentle quality in your pieces.
