Thanks very much for your kind comment about my work. I read it after my first (7 hr.) long day of work as a clerk in a kiosk at a shopping mall. After returning to my apartment feeling very down, your message was a tremendous lift to my spirit.

I am grateful for your response to my blog...I think it helps to ease the pain(t) that seems so unnecessary!  Artists, as a group, are like cheetahs in the animal kingdom.   We are beautiful, equipped, and really fast and out there (LOL), but the lions do get the lion's share of the glory and goods.  (Cheetahs never prosper...was it the wise baboon that said that)?

I like the title and variety of your work...very pleasant viewing, and I don't have to worry about my eyes getting hurt.  Interesting profile...my daughter is artistic but is going into nursing...more power to her, I would say.  Someone has to take care of us aging baby boomers!

Isn't retirement great?  I retired 2 years ago and can't imagine what it would be like to ge in that grind again.  Since then I have devoted most of my time to creating art.  That is except for the past couple of months because we moved and are still trying to get everything where it belongs.  Your subject matter is great.  I especially like the kids on the beach.  The water around the swan is great.

Yes, this is a fun time of life - kids grown - a time to focus more on ourselves and our dreams.  I figure we can only get better.  You are well on your way.  You seem very disciplined.  Your work is very, very lovely.  Lucinda
