Hi Amy,

Thanks so much for your encouraging comment, which I just discovered now. Somehow I missed the email notice that a comment was waiting. I am so pleased to make your acquaintance and yes, I am aware of Daily Painters. I have been holding off applying as I had a pause in my blog output, but I am about to post a lot of new work, so I will go ahead and apply shortly.

Thanks for looking at my stuff! It's great to hear from another Alaskan artist! And congratulations on your recent show, the work is terrific and that is my favorite gallery in the whole state!

Carol

I like your spontenious world.

Those are so wonderful!!

Actually, my material is mixed with poly and oil paint mainly.

When you have chance to come to New York please let me know.

I will show you my work directly. It looks three dimensional visualization.

Thanks for leaving a comment Amy, and the rather poetic way you did it. Your work really shows a free spirit.

I can imagine you have a lot of quality time to paint during the winter....

Amy - I got the idea for the credit card angels after seeing an article on a contemporary pop artist who uses old license plates to form portraits of celebrities. I realized one day after opening the 1 millionth junk mail envelope from AMEX that the sample credit cards that they send to you looks a lot like a license plate. So I started experimenting with subject matter. Whatever the outcome - they are FREE mini canvases in a way so that's the coolest! Try it out your self and maybe we can join a credit card art blog someday! - Jared
