Back in the Studio

I am so happy to be back playing in my studio today after a week of being a builders labourer and house painter/ cleaner.  It was sunny out and I felt sunny inside.  I just posted an update on my main blog 'No Naked Walls'.  http://nonakedwalls.blogspot.com/ Read it if you want to see what I have been up to.

Today is beautiful here in Atlanta.  It's sunny and warm and the blossom is out along with the tulips.  My friends in Ottawa, where I used to live a few years back, still have piles of snow and they think their tulips may not come out until July!!! 

I have been in my studio today getting ready to do some printmaking.  I finally have all the inks and the press is sitting waiting.  I have just udated my main blog with a picture of the foam print I did while I was waiting for the inks to arrive.  You may want to check it out.  I would love some comments on it if you get the urge!  http://susark.blogspot.com/

Simple Printmaking is Childs Play

I was up early this morning enjoying the beautiful sunny start to the day.  The birds were liking it too and they were singing their hearts out.  I updated my primary bog, No Naked Walls as I had my coffee.  I have found that I actually enjoy writing a blog however to write something different for both this one and my primary blog would be pushing the enjoyment factor a bit much so I have a link here to:http://susark.blogspot.com/

I just clicked the little box asking what my mood is and you will see I checked 'In Love'.  I'm actually in love with life!  I was writing my main blog 'No Naked Walls' this morning which was prompted by a great movie I saw last night.  i couldn't stop thinking about it and it made me realise just how very lucky I am to live in this day and age, in a free and democratic country.  I am also healthy, have a wonderful family and more than enough to eat.  When I get on the scales that comment really rings true!  Because life can change in an instant. I have really taken time today to be grateful and be aware of how fortunate I am.  With all these blessings how could I be anything but in love with life?

How many blogs does one need?  When does one find the time to paint with all this blogging and internet stuff to do?  And then there are the forums.  It's all great fun but the hours just disapear and my bottom is getting square from sitting.  Anyway the original No Naked Walls is on another site.  it's just new but you can see it here. http://susark.blogspot.com/
