I've been working on a new series of paintings....both oils and watercolors with 2 subjects that intertwine together.  The focus is nature and mysticism and I recently finished the newest piece, "Dream of Trees 2"...a small, colorful oil.  I love electric blues and the mystical effect they give, especially when using them to create a nighttime or dusk scene.  I hope you enjoy the new piece I've added to my webpage...more to come soon!

My 'NJ Art Tour' Update: I'm in the process of planning some solo exhibits, group shows & crafter vending events in these NJ towns: Jersey City, Asbury Park, Highland Park, New Brunswick, Woodbridge, Franklin Park, Somerset, Hillsborough, etc.... (yup, I'm keeping busy this year!). Several of these events are already a done deal & others are in-the-making, but as always, I'll keep you posted! Hope to see you soon!

Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!  I finally put some of my new Budapest photos up in my gallery.   These are all digital photos and now I'm in the process of getting  the rolls of 35mm film developed and printed.  I still love the excitement of not knowing what the film shots will look like until they're done!

Looks like I'll have some opportunities to exhibit these new images in  up-coming shows in NJ this summer, so lots of work ahead.

I hope you enjoy these photos...Budapest is a beautiful city with many historic tourist attractions, and I wanted to portray this with the images I shot.

Budapest was beautiful!  Took TONS of 35mm B&W & color pix as well as a bunch of digital, too...hopt to post some here soon....LOTS to catch up on!

Anyway, I managed to find the few Goth and Rock clubs there...Aside from the freaked out reactions to my nails, I met a lot of cool people, especially at this Rock-a-Billy bar called The Amigo.  The food was amazing, especially the desserts (mmmm, gellatto!!), but all the walking I did saved me from packin' on the pounds.  I sampled the local booze (Tokaji & Unicum), which was tasty, and did a load of sight-seeing.  Took a cruise down the Danube, went to the art history museum, relaxed in the therapeudic baths, etc... 

Well, now its time for me to prepare for my next art shows and get these Budapest pics ready to go.  Until next time....
