Hi Everyone!
I'm happy to announce that I will have some of my early wax pastel
works on display at the Barcelona Bar & Restaurant in German
Village(Columbus,Ohio). It will be on display the first week of
November through the end of December 2008. It's great place to eat at
and wonderful wall space for art work. Here is the address:

I also want to add that works will be discounted from the original
price during the duration of the exibition and for the upcoming holiday

art vs. art-please vote for my painting

Hello to everyone.
I was part of an on-site painting competition called Art vs. Art. Everyone that participated was given a canvas board, brushes and paints. Each participant had 4 hours to paint what they wanted. The Columbus region has a total of 18 artist and now I need your vote! If I receive enough votes, I'm able to compete in the main event in Indianapolis,IN for the $3000.00 prize. All paintings that don't make it will face their doom with a chainsaw!!

, scroll down and click on Columbus. There are about 18 paintings you
can vote for in that particular region. My painting has a dark green
background. A figurative-abstract guy w/ a purple face and light-green
nose. To the lower right of the painting is a dog-resembling figure

New book

I just purchased a book online from Eric Maisel titled "Coaching the Artist Within". I'm just on the second exercise, but the whole switching chair thing from yourself to your "inner coach" still kind of wierd for me.
Has anyone else utilized the book I just mentioned? If so, how is it helping you?

Busy July for Birthday Boy!!

Creativie blocks

I'm almost finished with completing another drawing and it's been a while I've done anything at all. It appears to me, that what I was mentally getting in the way of is now starting to fade.
I was wondering what do other artist do when they experience these creative blocks?
