This painting is called "The Demons Lost Count". What do you think? What does it say to you? It is done, but how would you inprove it? Love it? Hate it? Is it even worth your time looking at it? Feel free to comment on anything, color, content, composition, symbolism, anything. It is acrylic on canvas, 36x48 inches. I completed it about three or four months ago.
With the title, what it says to me is the demons are arguing, trying to place blame on each other. Maybe now they have to start over counting. I'm not sure what they would be counting, maybe souls. I kind of see a dinosaur --maybe a tyrannosaurus-- in the green to the left. Overall, the colors seem cool, even with demons being red, so I don't picture them in "hell." Maybe they've been sent out to perform a task for the day. It is very cute.
