Classical:symphonic, concertos, opera, piano, classical guitar - an occasional popular singer (Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra come to mind),for fun and upbeat rhythm I like Latin.

Right now I'm reading a series of mysteries set in modern day Venice, by Erica Leon - wonderful characters and plots. Trying to read all of them.

I'm a retired art teacher - taught all grade levels for many years. Lived in Barcelona, Spain for 7 years and taught at the American School there. Bachelor's in Fine Art from Pratt Institute, Master's in Studio Art from Adelphi University. Worked as a textile designer before teaching.
Married, two children (one is also an artist and high school art teacher),two grandchildren and another on the way!

Besides painting; going to concerts and the Metropolitan Opera,listening to classical music, especially the recordings of my husband, pianist Morton Estrin. I love traveling,beaches, sunsets,riding on carousels,and being with intelligent creative upbeat people.
