I am a self-taught artist who has been very fortunate to spend a lot of time with captive wolves and domestic canines. I spend as much time as I can gathering inspiration on long walks in the woods. It is there that I compose most of my paintings.
In 2007 I took the leap from the world of working for someone else to making my living with my artwork and I am now truly LIVING!

Laughter, wolves' eyes, the loon's songs, the ocean, the mountains, snow, bare trees in winter, stars, classical music, fresh bread, a good book and a good friend.

Dishonesty.

Artwork...and long walks in the woods. A good play session with a canine!

Pat,

Your work speaks clearly for itself!  i really enjoyed the tour through your gallery.  You seem to have a love for animals?  How does a venue like Connecticut allow you to find such great subject matter?  All of the pieces are great........ however the Eagle...Rocks!

Pat, by representational art do you mean the wolf painting you did with the american flag? If so your already there! If you meant something alse I'm sure it will go well, your very talented.About the wolf sightingI had, your not the only one to tell me I was fortunate to have seen them, even the locals up there rarely see them I was told.

Hi Pat, incredible work. I thought the thumbs were photos until I enlarged them. I tracked wolves in Ely Minnesota working with the Vermillion environmental school, it was a vacation I talk about alot and I actually saw two wolves in the wild. Keep it up, Brian
