| ABOUT ME |
I have been working in the fiber medium for 10 years. I have had a website for 1 year. I work mostly from photos which my husband takes for me, although this year I have started a "tactile" journal...that is sketches, fabrics, and words. I was born and raised in New England;it truly is my home. Vermont has been home for 15 years. I don't mind leaving, but I love coming home. I also love to travel and explore new vistas. The Pacific Northwest, British Columbia and Alaska are some of my favorite places. Landscape and the challenge of rendering it in fiber is what I like "painting" the best. I am mostly self taught and have always thought one ought to be able to paint in fabric and thread. |
