I have a Bachelor's Degree in Art from Mount Mary College. I have dabbled in other mediums but I believe that acrylics is my where I have developed the most, right now I'm working on painting flowers and abstracts, and would like to start doing landscapes.I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

Goodness, Nancy--how time has flown since you sent me your wonderful comment on "Burst"!  So sorry it has taken me so very long to respond.  I have been away from ASB for a bit :o)  Triptychs are really fun, and very versatile, particularly from a business standpoint if you are selling online.  You can make larger pieces, but keep shipping costs down for your collectors b/c you won't have to ship freight ;o)  Go ahead...paint one!  I'd love to see it.

Thank you for the nice comment on my cloud painting. Being a representational painter I often wrongly see abstract work as unfinished or simply just play. However, looking thru your gallery, I enjoyed seeing your exploration of shapes, color and texture. I can see joy in your process of painting. I also enjoyed your macro shots of the irises.

Thank you for looking at my work. I like the heavy texture and croping of your images.

Hi Nancy! Glad you like my little quilted piece. Those were fun to do!

Love your use of color and texture, especially in your newer pieces.

Yes, it was actually a very silly painting.  It's rather odd because I don't leave a boring life at all.  Hmmmm it just came out.

I see you're not working on abstracts at the moment.  They are very beautiful.  Your paintings seem to have a life of their own.  The second one above is passionate...
