Country and old-time Rock & Roll are my favorites.

I am a voracious reader and would rather wade through something academic or boring, but well written, than fast-moving junk. I am a fan of Neil Gaimon, Diana Gabaldon, Lisa Scottoline, Hunter S. Thompson, Dean Kuntz, and many others.

I like good comedy most of all. All of the Monty Python movies would qualify. Dumb & Dumber, What About Mary, Meet the Folkers, Harold & Kumar ..those are excellent. I like documentaries. I don't like slasher movies and movies with too much noise or so many special effects, there is no room for plot.

My first ambition was to be a pilot and have been flying since I was 15. I am a former U.S. Marine Corps Officer and Naval Aviator I am a geologist but at heart I am just a prospector. My wife, three sons and one stepdaughter are the most important parts of my world. I am a member of the Spokane Tribe of Indians and consider the tribe to be next most important, after my family.

I like friendly people that look outside themselves to benefit others. I like things that make me curious. I like challenges that make me dig deeper into who I am. I like the feeling of being a husband, father and friend. I like thinking that I will add to the value of humanity. I like cold beer, BBQs, and for my football team to win.

I dislike dishonest people. I dislike eating tripe or anything similar...probably not too keen on eating insects and varmints. I dislike abuse of our natural resources.
