I've always been excited by art. I love to go to art museums whenever I travel. I enjoy looking at other people's art and marvel at the many ways people express themselves.

THINGS I LIKE
I love the creative release that painting provides. I also enjoy cooking, writing, quilting, reading or listening to books on tape, and playing (doing graphics) on the computer. I enjoy listening to music while I paint. I like spending quiet time with my husband, and catching up on life with my children.

THINGS I DISLIKE
There is very little I don't like. I don't always agree with something, but that doesn't mean I don't like it.

HOBBIES
Trying new art forms, sewing, quilting, reading, writing, cooking.

Thank you for your comments on my work.  I enjoy painting seascapes and plan to do more this winter.  I enjoyed seeing your portraits, not something I do but I admire those who work with the human figure.

Hi Kathleen,  Thanks for you nice remarks about the painting of my niece.  That piece actually won Best In Show at the Los Angeles County Fair in 2007.  I was thrilled!  I don't do many portraits.  They're soooo hard.  In fact I have another portrait of another neice that I've been working on for 4 years... just can't seem to get it finished.  But when you do one neice, you have to do them all!


Your portraits are beautiful!  Keep at it.
