I am a painter who has recently sat down my brushes and started using the brushes God gave me... MY FINGERS! I love this new technique and cannot paint enough. Thanks Allen Montegue for teaching me. I have a studio at the historic Stutz Building in Indianapolis. There you can visit me every first Friday of the month. I love to travel and my favorite trip thus far has been Tuscany. Be sure to check out my website at www.wo-di.com and my "painting a day" site jmknight77@blogspot.com. Cheers!

I've been doing this for over 13 years man, coming to anderson gave me time to relax and showcase my work in other states, I'm heading back home to NYC now because I have to do alot back there. Then arizona next year, I have one final public exhibit in Noblesville, there having a fund raiser.

Yes, I definitely love color.  Never thought of using black gesso; that's a good tip.  Thanks.  I have a goal of painting one 6x8 each day.  Not quite making it.  Somedays it has been a little larger.  I'm envious of your Tuscanny trip.  I would love to do that as well.  I need to sell some of this first.

your new works posted are beautiful.. I am going to Rome next month and your love of Italy has me wishing I was going to be in the country rather than the city!

I am interested in the 'atmosphere I see in your work.  Alas, the closest I get to fingers is through the nitrile gloves and oil sticks....I still like to mix the paints on the palette with my brushes, but I always get to a point where I feel the need to touch the canvas, so I can totally relate, dude...

Tucson has a lot of great painting weather; however, the summers can be a little challenging.  Look me up when you are and let's paint. Roger

I paint with my fingers all the time with my acrylics and I use a brush with my watercolors.  Isn't it fun fingerpaintins?  It's like playtime with me.
