I am inspired by the natural beauty of this world. My paintings are simply a way for me to express my love for nature and the cosmos. In my images I try to show the interconnection of all things great and small. The immense galaxy and the tiny hawk are all part of the same creation.I was trained as a scintific illustrator at The University of Michigan and so I do enjoy depicting my subjects in a
realistic way. But I also try to create images with a surreal atmosphere that goes beyond simple observation. I hope you enjoy my paintings.
