I'm a certified Clay Aiken fan. Have loved his voice and his humanitarian efforts. He is our UNICEF ambassador for education for the last four years. He has traveled all over the world for UNICEF. Clay started a foundation "The Bubble,Aiken Foundation" for Autistic children. He was a teacher for autistic children before American Idol. I have an autistic grandchild. Clay has some very serious pipes and has a very comedic personality. He was great in "Spamalot" on Broadway. I saw it Three times and each time was a riot.

I love Patterson mysteries, When I get my eyes fixed I will branch out more.

Romantic comedies. any thing with George Clooney,

I live in Phoenix Az. Started art in my fifties. (late Bloomer)
Motor cycle repair was all filled up so I took art at Glendale college. I loved it. I stayed in the art dept for six years. and then studied with various excellent artists around the Valley. I am a juried member of the Arizona Art Alliance, and am very active in many art leagues. I have had many one woman exhibits and purchase awards. My art has been collected in England and Italy as well as across the US. I live in a Beautiful Region where artists abound. The Light is fantastic all year round in Arizona.
I volunteered to teach classes at a Juvenile Correction Facility
for four years. I loved giving back to the young men, they were very appreciative. You can see their art work on my web site,(click on) jaxines website or just google the name jaxine and go to New Beginnings; scroll to bottom and click on their art work. its worth your time. I am really proud of them.

I love getting new artist excited enough to explore. I'm good at that job. I'm very enthusiastic. lol also my hubby, my havanese puppy.

Thanks again, Jax, that's such a nice compliment. I apprecaite the great feedback. I started painting so "late" I just went directly to national and international competitions :).

Your latest works are wonderful, as always!

Cheers,

Sandy

Thank you for your comment. I am deligkted with the response to this image. It was done for a friend named Cookie. might put it in a charity auction because it is popular. It is so hard to decide what will achieve the most attention.     Thank you    Susan

I belong to a group ISEA.  I think your title would fit right in. www.iseaartexhibit.org    Experimental artist

Thank you Jaxine for your comments on my page.  I greatly enjoyed your gallery as well; amazing use of color.  Your apples are lucious apples.  I too hate lima beans .

 See you on scuttlebut...

Hi Jaxine,

Thank you for the kind comment on my cat painting, "The Socialite." I really enjoyed viewing your gallery of work and especially your pastel of "Ross." Best wishes for a great painting day.

Hi Jaxine,  Thanks for looking at my page.  I don't throw anything in the fire.  The colors come from the type of glaze I use.  The piece gets pulled from the kiln when it's red hot (between 1600-1800 degrees), then placed in a can with combustible material, I use shredded newspaper, covered and then doused with water. I am 10% artist and 90% pyromaniac.  Christina

Love your work too, the colors are wonderful.
