I just stubbled on the post about teaching art and being a teacher.  I enjoyed your post.  Some of the things you said were so well put.  I went to your webpage and saw you recently had a show.  I hope it was a success.  Nice work.

Jason,

I saw your work on your website and was transported to a quiet yet (in some cases) very busy world.  It's the place we live, but at the same time it's foreign.  Very interesting.

The ice cream still lifes are a fun series.  One thing I'm afraid to do is be around food for subjects.  There wouldn't be anything left for me to paint!
