Doing daily paintings appealed to me partly as a challenge to paint more often, but also to paint more spontaneously.

I looked around me and saw heaps of saved paintings, drawers of handmade, marbled and collected papers, and a wealth of hoarded artifacts; nothing has been thrown out!

I see this as a time to bring these treasures together. Friends and family have asked if this has been stressful, trying to make a daily painting...the truth is, it's been very liberating and very much fun!
