| ABOUT ME |
For 40 years I lived in the MD/D.C. area where I spent 35 years sculpting--was a resident artist for seven years at Montpelier Cultural Arts Center and was with Studio Gallery in D.C.
I returned to my hometown in 2000, a small beautiful town on Kerr Lake (Buggs Island)--a 50,000-acre lake on the border of VA/NC. I built a workshop in the back yard for sculpting; then I decided to paint.
My friends and neighbors--locals and retirees--like my work and sometimes actually buy it. |

Porching (sitting on the front porch with neighbors), museums, art books, NPR, TV--Boston Legal, Mad Men, Charlie Rose. Artists: Sir Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud (Christmas gifted myself with his 8 1/2-lb. book). |
