I cant help it, I love sharing my art passion with people, and because I do that, I end up marketing myself in every aspect of my life! I just posted 2 "marketing" tools in the scuttlebutt gallery, an ad that is being used for a fall show catalog, and a postcard image for a show I am currently in.. I love sharing my passion for art.

I spent the summer taking time off sort of, and now that its mid August I am realizing I have alot of prep work to do for upcoming shows as well as classes and through all of my preparations I will remain constant regarding my ability to share what I do with anyone that has an interest in listening! I think thats the best marketing tool of all. Sharing a passion.

I hope you enjoyed the summer. I'm still putting my fall schedule together - having started to attend First (pick your day of the week) Gallery walk nights with my work. I know what shows to do next year - but the remainder of this year is open.

It's fun to get out there! The energy builds, the fear ebbs away, the right people start to show up.  So I appreciate your enthusiasm. Thanks for all your support!!

At this point I'm getting ready to print work. I've seen, heard and sold enough to know where to invest in inventory.

It's fun to be in the studio and feel like I'm working for people I value. When I used to be skittish about marketing I didn't get to have that pleasure.

Hi!, I must say I admire you two. I love making art, but I just can't figure out a way to market myself, and then if I do think of something, I'm just too afraid t do it!. I admire people who know how to put themselves and their work "out there". Any advise? I know I really have to start getting out there, but I just can't seem to get the courage to go out there.
