prejudices against women artists in China

The Chinese artmarket is not yet mature, the artmarket is until now a place where male artist scambling and jumbling for fame and money. whenever a female artist participates in this game she has to encounter curious and strange remarks from various stratus of the society.

I disregard all these remarks, in fact I almost look at them with askance, because I have raised art to a higher level than fame and money.  To me painting has become a kind of escape, it helps me to pass my time , I feel happy and content when I finish a painting, and I forget that time is running when I am at my painting.

Discrimination

I think you are very brave for following your passion and not letting anyone else distract you from your goals. You show true strength of character and this is invaluable. I really admire your commitment and spirit.
