Groupmama Barbara here. I thought long and hard and decided to rename our group as to include everyone. I am an inclusive kinda gal! Hope no one minds! If anyone does, I am considering starting a women's only group if there is interest in that. Feel free to comment on this..

Hi there, Thanks for inviting me to join this dynamic group. I like the notion of fearlessness in the creation of art, and look forward to viewing the works of this group. What makes us fearless?? Your thoughts. - Kathy

Thanks for welcoming me into your fearless forum. I've admired what you ladies have had to say from afar and appreciate the opportunity to take part in your discussions.
I like Kathy's question "What makes us fearless?" What makes me fearless is creating. When I'm painting or designing I find that nothing bothers me. I get into a zone where no one and nothing can intrude. When the world is overwhelming, when work is stressful or when I'm totally pissed off or otherwise bothered about something I've discovered that as soon as I pick up a brush or a pencil or even the mouse on my computer everything else fades away. By the time I'm finished for the night I am totally relaxed and in no way worried about, bothered by, or fearful of anything. -Don
I feel the same way! I could be in a real stinker of a mood and pick up my brush and poof! INSTANT SANITY. Getting into the zone is addicting. I have to sometimes remind myself to stop and go see how the world is coming along without me...LOL.
Creation can be a fearful thing, so the act of doing it is indeed brave.
