Nice paintings for a beginner. I'd say you have found a good place with your art. There are lots of techniques out there. Try as many as you wish, but remember to work on the one that got you started. You have a nice touch and a good eye. These two examples have a strong perspective that draws the eye. I love your water in both patintings.
Question: How do you like the water soluable oils? What brand do you use? I have been trying it out for a year now. At first I didn't care for it, but I had been away from oils for about 4 years -- doing mostly watercolor, like now. I was an oil painter for 11 years and miss it. Once I got my way with the WSO's I really liked them. I will probably do some more oil paintings now that I've found a technique I like. I use Winsor-Newton. Haven't tried anyone elses yet.
Best to you. Please join my friends panel so I cankeep up with what you are doing.
