Do you paint your rams from photos or real life? You've got the textured swirl of the horns down well- that's exactly how they look.  I'm that way about horses manes- I just keep doing them because I love the way they flow.

This has great realistic textures. Considering it's acrylic to me is even more amazing. I have the hardest time with acrylics getting what I want out of them. Do you use them like transparent watercolor and build on that? I haven't yet tried that but it sounds plausible. Really nice piece
