I have been an artist for most of my life. My formative years were spent painting and sculpting nature. I am drawn to rich, vibrant colors, and texture. The process of creating: whether it be gardening, sculpting, writing, cooking, working on a design, mural or painting inspires me. I have a busy family life, with three awesome, creative, young men, and also spend hours gardening extensively with my husband. I share my studio with my lab "Otto".

Celebrating everyday by passionately surrounding yourself with nature, beauty, color, and simplicity, that are authentic to yourself; then adding a dose of gratitude for the opportunity to live a passionate life, rather than a passive one, and lastly fill your heart with joy, for a life well lived!

Hello,

I saw/felt in your work that you have found that special quite place in your life.  It's wonderful to dwell in  tha place; becuase i find it keeps me balance and brings me constantly face to face with reality.  As for the technical skills, yours are absolutely incrediable.  However, I am drawn to the feeling you envoke in my spirit , especially when i took a walk down that clay dirt road!!!!

Keep up the great work.

Tim

Thank you Gail! That guy's music filled the whole street where he was playing, and it was beautiful. I'm glad you like it.

Your work is great! I especially like Sunshine Sail. I do a little sailing myself.

Gail, you are so creative.  thank you for the wonderful comment.

when I was starting out in art,  20 years ago. A nurse told me to get the book

"The Artist way" by Julie Cameron,  it really changed my life.

I worked every page and journaled for three years.  I got so much garbage out of my system.  I would go to my husbands office and shred the pages the first year.  I still keep that book out where I can read a few pages every day.  It gave me confidence and set me free.  lol.
