House of Campari returns to New York this spring to support the local visual arts community and showcase the city’s thriving, emerging talent with an art exhibition, performance art, musical performances and events. For the third year in a row, House of Campari will be located in Soho, temporarily housing some of the most outstanding artwork from a variety of provocative visual artists who have either had their first solo show in New York in the past season or will have one in the upcoming season. The bold and distinctive works from this year’s 25 artists will be on display from May 30th through June 15th.
The title exhibition, “Defining a Moment: 25 New York Artists,” will serve as
a snapshot of New York’s current emerging visual arts scene, featuring the work of
artists who have been selected for their unique visions and exceptional contributions to the visual arts community.
Each artist in the exhibition is represented by a leading gallery in New York with a commitment to highlighting new artistic talent, including: ATM Gallery, ChinaSquare, Clementine Gallery, DAmelio Terras, Daniel Reich Gallery, Eleven Rivington, Foxy Production, Harris Lieberman, Kathleen Cullen Fine Arts, Kravets Wehby Gallery, Lombard-Freid Projects, Mehr Gallery, Metro Pictures, Morgan Lehman Gallery, Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery, Patrick Callery, RARE, Roebling Hall, RUSH Arts Gallery, Smith-Stewart, Studio Museum in Harlem, Sunday L.E.S., Team, Thomas Erben Gallery, White Columns. Participating artists include: Nina Chanel Abney, Ahmed Alsoudani, Hany Armanious, Mark Barrow, Michael Bilsborough, André Butzer, Georganne Deen, David Ellis, Keltie Ferris, Tomoo Gokita, Evan Gruzis, Chen Jiagang, Rashid Johnson, Titus Kaphar, Jarbas Lopes, Tala Madani, Matthew McGuinness, Davis Rhodes, Aki Sasamoto, Andrew Schoultz, Valeska Soares, Sara VanDerBeek, Diane Wah, Hugh Walton, Haeri Yoo.
