Choosing to dwell on the beauty and joy in life, Deb Kirkeeide’s paintings go much deeper than their subjects. With rich expressive brushwork and a poetic use of color, her paintings are a celebration of connection to the spirit found in nature.
Mostly self taught and relatively new to oil painting, a Wyoming Plein Air workshop in 2005 turned out to be her artistic and personal epiphany bringing an awakened passion for painting and nature. Committed to painting ever since, she strives to paint every day.
She brings a confidence to her art gained from a career as a designer. This, combined with her love and sense of purpose for what she does, results in the joy and beauty found in her paintings.
Deb currently lives Minnetonka, MN. She is a member of Outdoor Painters of Minnesota and is a juried artist in the DailyPainters.com gallery. |
