My intent with art is to represent the pure and beautiful essence of life with rich, intense colors, yet softly and harmoniously blended. The images are rendered semi-realistically and in full clarity, yet the viewer is never to be overwhelmed by complexity. The compositions are a delicate balance of subtlety and detail in which the graduated pure colors are realized.
In short, I attempt to capture life in all its complex variations, and break it down to its pure simplicity while keeping it real. I depict all this with portraits, figures, landscapes, still-life, flora, animal and even the concepts of the mind. I believe you will find this artwork to be bold, exciting, fresh, and I hope- enjoyable.
