My joy is in painting portraits and the human figure, using the vibrancy of watercolor to depict a personality, a moment in time, or a person’s characteristics.  The painting comes alive by placing colors in an impressionistic manner upon their portrait.  In my paintings I hope that each day you discover something new, just as you get to know a person you discover something new.  It is my hope that you will enjoy art and perhaps a painting of yourself or a loved one.

Thanks for your nice remarks about "The Tibetan Boy".


Your watercolor portraits arelovely, I particularly liked Vernon.  The way you use broken color in watercolor is unique and enhances the subtlety and beauty of the medium.
