I'm pushing hard to find some representation with my paintings. I've built a site dedicated to showing curators, collectors and art consultants.

I'd love to get a critique or feedback from anyone that has an
opinion.

http://www.adam-parsons.com/

I look forward to hearing from any of you.
Adam.

I'm back with an opinion.

Your biography looks great.  In the second paragraph, make it "Far East" instead of "far east."  Change "different market to the newspaper" to "different market from the newspaper."  (minor changes)

Your statement is excellent--it helped me understand why I like your work.  However, I had difficulty with the second sentence of the second paragraph.  I'm using my psychic abilities here--I think you mean this:  ""My primary choice is to paint on canvas:  I like the punishment I can inflict on it and the way--when it can be moved to a clean wall after a battle has been fought--the scars remain visible."

I love your paintings and your titles.  A terrific website!

Hi Adam,

I think the site looks great, but just a few things bothered me,  There is no catagorization to the galleries, like how you have them on your other site.  I also think you should elaborate more on your style of Esoteric Automatism.  Your other site gives sucha wonderful explanation of what you are trying to accomplish as an artist, so I think adding that to this site will help those that you want seeing your work understand you as an artist better.  You are sharing your thoughts and artwork with those of us on the butt, It feels like maybe you aren't so sure about sharing with those curators, Galleries, and such.  I don't know that I have any business saying such things because I really don't have my own site yet, but that is how I feel.  I do think that the set up of how you want things arranged is very well done.

Thanks for sharing the site with us Adam. NS :)

Very nice site. Simple but elegant.

I agree that the galleries don't appear much different from one another and that you should put the most recent dates first on your resume page.

I looked at your website with interest because I am considering an attempt at creating one.  I worked for a while as an editor for the Federal government so I have a critical eye.

The opening page above is well done; however, "adam" should line up with "parsons."  I agree with the comment below; I cannot find any distinction between the three galleries.

Resumes usually begin with the most recent; yours is the opposite.

Your biography has quite a few minor errors and could be more succinct.  Print a copy and have someone proofread it and check your prepositions (i.e.; of, for, with); I believe curators, collectors and art consultants will look for professionalism.

p.s. Editing is a lot easier than writing.  Good work--you've had an interesting life.

I think it looks great, but the different galleries could be catagorized more.
