Elgol

I delight in creating a fusion of paintings and poems produced as signed and numbered Giclee prints. I have included in my gallery the original oil of "Elgol" along with the giclee print which includes the poem. The Art & Verse print measures 483mm x 329mm. The original oil measures 760 x 500mm. The poem reads:

Elgol
Elgol, where, swathed in
Mists and mystery,
The Cuillins reach the sea.

This view across to the Cuillin Mountains from the fishing hamlet of Elgol on the west coast of the Isle of Skye brings back wonderful memories of a glorious painting tour on which I was accompanied by my daughter and our ebullient Australian uncle. Hidden in the cliff face is a giant sea shell.
