Things Happen for a Reason

One door closes, another opens. My strong belief is things happen for a reason....we may not understand what that reason is at the time, but eventually it becomes clear. Yesterday, I received some news that my work was not accepted by an online venue. In some sense, I was relieved as I wasn't certain if I could keep up with the potential demand. And I knew this was just a signal that something better was going to happen. Today I had a message from the local paper, they wanted to interview me about my glass work because of the Estes Park National Juried Show, where my "Twigs" piece was accepted. Frankly, I think this is great news for me as it gives me and my work local exposure. I'm a firm believer that things do happen for a reason!
